A mere 13% of the world’s seas are truly wild – meaning largely unmarred by human activity. It is now more important than ever that we protect this wild spirit, before it’s too late.

Together with a network of partners, Talisker and Parley are working to return the seas to the way they should be by supporting the protection and preservation of one hundred million square meters of marine ecosystems around the world over the next three years. THE UNDERWATER FORESTS

Kelp is critical to ocean health. Along coastlines around the world, vast and majestic hidden forests of algae absorb carbon dioxide, regulate water acidity, harbour microorganisms, and nourish and shelter marine life.

Kelp forests buffer communities from storms, erosion and climate change, but are threatened by ever-increasing human activity. Future generations may never have the opportunity to explore these awe-inspiring natural wonders.
