The sea is vital to sustaining all life on earth. The ultimate wild spirit, it's home to unique ecosystems which play a significant role in maintaining the delicate balance of our planet's ecology. Our seas are part of us.

A mere 13% of the world’s seas are truly wild – meaning largely unmarred by human activity. It is now more important than ever that we protect this wild spirit, before it’s too late.

Together with a network of partners, Talisker and Parley are working to return the seas to the way they should be by supporting the protection and preservation of one hundred million square meters of marine ecosystems around the world over the next three years. Join us on this journey to rediscover the beauty and power of our seas.

Let's rewild our seas.

Help Rewild Our Seas

Talisker and Parley have committed to supporting the preservation and protection of 100 million square meters of marine ecosystems around the world by 2023. Together, with your contribution, we can do even more. Join the mission to Rewild Our Seas and support the Parley Foundation. Your pledge will go towards marine initiatives and education, raising awareness for the beauty and fragility of the oceans, and working to restore, preserve and protect them for future generations.

"Many of us have forgotten our intimate connection to the ocean. Forgotten how by simply being in the sea alters our genetic diversity. I was taught that nature will always find a balance and if we listen closely, we too have a humble role to play.

For me, wildness isn't loud or aggressive. It's about finding stillness. It's about being in harmony with everything around us."

Kelp is critical to ocean health. Along coastlines around the world, vast and majestic hidden forests of algae absorb carbon dioxide, regulate water acidity, harbour microorganisms, and nourish and shelter marine life.

Kelp forests buffer communities from storms, erosion and climate change, but are threatened by ever-increasing human activity. Future generations may never have the opportunity to explore these awe-inspiring natural wonders.

Talisker Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made by the sea on the shores of the Isle of Skye, one of the most remote, yet beautiful landscapes in Scotland. Few whiskies tell the story of their origin better than Talisker, its smell and taste instantly evoke the rugged environment — like a warm welcome from a wild sea.

Parley is the network where creators, thinkers, and leaders come together to raise awareness for the beauty and fragility of our oceans and to collaborate on projects that can end their destruction. Parley addresses major threats towards our oceans, the most important ecosystem of our planet. Learn more at
